we
practice + teach
A regular yoga practice for a
teacher equals
practicing 3-7 times a week. We know what it is like to practice and
teach when tired, overwhelmed, sick, or injured. We are
not super
yogis, we are human and we love what we do!
our
instructors
Each
instructor is an independent certified hatha yoga professional.
Our teachers are highly respected and well educated in various styles of yoga. Education and teacher training programs primarily include Bikram Choudhury, Jane Austin, Brenda Strong, Rusty Wells, and Judith Lasater.
More importantly, they have personalized the practice to reflect their own studies, and their classes will reflect this dynamic quality.

Welcome to our weekly 'Stuff We Like' blog, where 7x7 editors talk about...stuff we like. Here's what we're into this week...
1. Bikram Yoga at Fluid Yoga It was 113 degrees in LA yesterday, the city's hottest day ever. Guess where it's 113 every day? Bikram yoga. I've been dabbling in Bikram for a few months now at Fluid Yoga in the Inner Sunset. Right off the N Judah on Judah and 10th, Fluid's a great place for hot yoga newbies: they offer a 30-day introductory package for just $30. Also, the studio features wooden floors, a plus for anyone who can't stand the smell of sweaty carpets. Sweat it out!

Greenest Tree Pose
Those of you already on the Birkam bandwagon obviously aren't daunted by the thought of 90 minutes of intense yoga in a sauna-like room. But the stale smell and funky carpet of some studios can repel even the most die-hard adherent. With its antimicrobial rubber flooring, eco-friendly heating system and bright modern decor, Bikram Yoga Inner Sunset is, literally, a breath of fresh air. And if your not sure you can take the heat, you can try as many classes as you want for 30 days for only $30.
